Welcome

Under the initiation, development and consolidation of rural communities in the western Mediterranean (VII-III millennium cal BC) saw the circulation and exchange a large amount of raw materials, products, ideas, techniques, … In order to advance both the understanding of diversity, the extent and characteristics of these contacts as explained in the context of historical processes in which they occur, from 2 to 4 February 2011 conference will be held networks in the Neolithic.

The primary objective of this conference is to gather the maximum possible number of researchers Italic and Iberian peninsulas, the Maghreb, southern France and the different islands in this part of the Mediterranean, and their respective areas of influence, interested in together to present and discuss their research both empirical and assumptions about the social, economic, political, ideological, … that may explain the type, importance and extent of contacts documented.
